Woman Working As Computer Shop Owner Checking Bills And InvoicesJust in time, for National Small Business Week, Wells Fargo has launched the 2015 Wells Fargo Works Project National Contest to provide resources to deserving small business owners.

For the second year, Wells Fargo is inviting eligible business owners to enter a nationwide contest to win $25,000 and a business mentorship opportunity.

I have the honor to serve as a part of the Wells Fargo team. I recently conducted a small business makeover and mentoring for one of last year’s contest finalists, Grooming by Em, based in North Brentwood, MD.

Wells Fargo Works ProjectHere’s a video of our time together. Emily Mansilla is a great entrepreneur who got the surprise of her life thanks to Wells Fargo. Just think, I could be coming to your small business next.

To enter the Wells Fargo Works Contest, business owners must submit a 2 1/2 minute video or 600-word essay with a photo, responding to questions about their businesses. Twenty-five finalists will be selected to receive $1,000 each for their businesses. Five grand prize winners will be selected from the 25 finalists to receive $25,000 each for their businesses.

The contest runs from May 1 to June 30, and winners will be announced in September. Click here to enter now.
