Once a year, I provide a list of my favorite products and apps for anyone looking for gifts for small business owners. If you are in business and ready to make an investment in your business or yourself, I have a great selection of products that will help increase your productivity and grow your business.  Before the Black Friday deals start rolling out, I want you to know what to be looking for in the stores or online.

  1. Laptop Computer

Dell XPS 13

Still one of the best laptops ever made

After years of being a MacBook person, I’m finally over it. If you need a new business laptop, I must say the Dell XPS 13 is the one to get. To invest in a business laptop, be prepared to spend $1,250-$1,850, especially with the four-year crash and burn warranty you’ll need. But you’ll be rewarded with a computer that has a long battery life, makes you more productive for years to come, and has a great keyboard. Screen resolution matters. It’s hard to be productive if you can’t see the screen. Get a laptop with a resolution that’s 1920 x 1080 or higher. The only drawback to the latest version of this device is that Dell ditched the standard, USB Type-A ports, but if you can work around that, this is a workhorse machine.

  1. Printer

Canon Color imageCLASS MF634Cdw Wireless Color Printer with Scanner, Copier & Fax

The Canon Color MF634Cdw is the answer if you are looking for a speedy color laser printer with all-in-one features, including photocopying and scanning (and even fax). It easily connects to your mobile devices without a router using Wi-Fi Direct connection. It also offers a hi-capacity toner option which will limit toner replacement interruptions. This device is not only a great printer, but you can also save your small business money compared to buying the devices individually, having them all in one compact device will save space as well.

  1. Shipping and Mailing Labels

Avery Design and Print

If you are thinking about creating a limited-time-only promotion or giving your merchandise brand flair with custom-printed packaging labels featuring holiday designs, look at Avery products featuring Sure Feed™ technology. They’ve taken mailing labels to the next level by providing labels with a more reliable feed through your printer. That means accurately printed labels the first time.

  1. Best New Productivity Hack

MixMax

My new favorite productivity tool is MixMax. If you use Gmail, Google calendar and Google docs, you will love this app. It provides reminders for email, and if you are trying to schedule a meeting, you can add clickable date options that will add the meeting right to your calendar. It’s a tool that will help you close more sales. It’s the essential productivity suite for Gmail and Google Inbox and for $24/month. It’s a deal. Try the free trial, and go from there.

  1. Cool gadget for home or the office

Levō G2 Deluxe Tablet Stand

If you’ve cut off cable in your house and now your iPad is your TV. The Levō G2 Deluxe Tablet Stand will let you look up at eye level instead of down at your lap to watch a movie, read an e-book or record a video at your office using your iPad for teleprompter hands-free. This innovative tech solution securely “floats” tablets and e-readers, and for under $200, it’s worth a close look.

  1. Wireless Keyboard

Logitech FLOW 3 Screen Keyboard Logitech K780

I always have multiple devices going at one time. Between email and text messages, it’s hard to keep up, but this multi-device wireless keyboard helps me stay responsive on all my devices. It’s a beautiful keyboard that allows easy switching between any computer, tablet or smartphone. It works with MAC and Android devices. The full-size keyboard has quiet keys and convenient number pad. With a cost under $60, it’s a low-risk investment that will greatly increase your productivity.

  1. Best business credit card

CHASE INK BUSINESS PREFERRED VISA CARD

If you are running a small business, you need to keep your personal and business expenses separate. The Ink Business Preferred Card from Chase can help you maximize your purchases, separate your expenses, and earn rewards that you can use to treat yourself for all your hard work. This Business credit card offers bonus rewards on categories such as travel, office supplies, advertising, and gas.

Do you like FREE stuff? If you are interested in winning a free business product this holiday, don’t forget to sign up for my #5DaysofGiveaways Contest.  Each day starting December 3, 2018, I’ll be giving away a gift to one lucky business owner.  The contest is available to U.S. residents only. You must be at least 18 to enter, and you must register to get the secret social post of the day.
